Another quicky: recaptcha public and private?

Hi all, can someone please explain in plain speak:

1. The difference between public and private recaptcha setting D7.2?

2. where i need to go to upload the recaptcha image D7.2?

You need to request the keys here: https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/index.html

Click the blue Get reCAPTCHA button, follow the instructions, and that's all. You'll be issued a pair of site and private keys, which are then entered in Admin Panel => Settings => Advanced Settings => Security.

well its worked on many upgrades before but I cant get recaptcha to work now no matter what I try. Could someone please tell me how exactly its set up.
