Anti-Spam Breaks Facebook Login

I enabled all 4 anti-spam sites today and found out that I couldn't login via Facebook anymore. I could register, but when I tried to login I would get a message saying I had an invalid username/password.

When I disabled the anti-spam measures, I was able to login again.

Anyone else notice this problem?

I'm using Dolphin 7.0.9 with only Deano's tools installed as a 3rd party plugin.

UPDATE: I've narrowed it down to activating the "zomgbl.spameatingmonkey.net." spam protection. FB login works with the others enabled.

It does not just break facebook logons. If you try a signup with the normal dolphin join form while that filter is enabled you will see that does not work either.

Search the forums for zomgbl.spameatingmonkey.net

You will see this has been addressed before. That filter blocks everything. It is for testing and as far as i am concerned should not even be included with the public release of dolphin.

Thanks Deano - leave it to me to look for the wrong search term. :P

I agree with you. If it blocks everything, it shouldn't be included. It's just confusing people as it is.

The other ones are cool, right?

Thanks,

Corey

I don't use any of them. So far, I have locked myself out 3 different times that required a database assault to get me back in.

I believe there are better ways to fight spam than using pre defined lists. They are too restrictive.
