Any suggestions appreciated.

This has nothing at all to do with Dolphin software but I'm at a loss and hope someone might have some ideas.

I recently changed servers and since doing so I can not access my website on the new server from this computer only. I get a 404 error. From my cell phone and everyone else it seems to work fine.

I cleared the caches and tried in 3 different browsers, cleared the DNS cache from the command prompt, checked the firewall in both windows and my anti virus and also brought my computer to a friends home and I have not made any changes to this computer but when I ping the site my computer is still looking for the site at the old servers IP address.  This has been 4 or 5 days now.

Any ideas??

If you have a min maybe you can try to access the site yourself, The link below should bring you to the splash page. Please let me know if you see a 404 error.

I did find the problem. It was in the windows/system32/    host.txt. Normally this is a read only file but for some reason in Win 10 it wasn't. Once I deleted the contents of the host.txt file everything was fine.

Haven't you heard already, Microsoft has turned Windows into a privacy nightmare; they intend to mine your system for content they like and store information about you on their servers.  I would not be surprised if your host.txt file contents returns even if you have deleted it; if MicroCrap intents it for some purpose they will make sure it is there.

While I was in there I enabled the read only option in host.txt and every things still working well so far and yes I have been hearing a lot about Windows collecting everything down to your key strokes. No tellin who they'll share that with.  It most likely won't help much but I turned off every option I could find in the privacy options. Pages and pages of options...
