Anyone imported wordpress content to Blogs

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has successfully imported or placed their old wordpress blogs into the Dolphin blogs...I would like to do this with content from my old blog???

Anything is possible; it just takes allot of time and beverages of alcoholic nature. What you are trying to do is import blog posts from an entirely different script, with an entirely different database structure. That's a tall order, and unless someone here feels adventurous, you may be out of luck. Still, you can always keep the blog as an archive, or setup a new page or block area with a feed to the old posts.

Too bad...I would have thought it would not be so hard...All I really need is to input the Title and Description into a specific user...Does that make sense...So imagine my primary blogger has account Fanfever:

I would need only this:

Writer : Fanfever (always will be for all posts)

Title: Imported

Desciption: Imported

Date: Imported

And that is the only info that I would need to get into the blogs...Oh well I may poke around and see if it can be input right into the mysql tables, or if I can figure it out..(importing from other platforms would be nice for Dolphin to support since most users come from other platforms) ...thanks for the help though

Well, I never said that it's impossible, so if anyone with experience or the cojones wants to take a crack at it, be my guest.

Hello prphotos!

I made migration from 2.8.5 to 6.1.6 - most "inner thing" - right accordance between Dolphin's blogs tables and WP tables `wp_term_taxonomy` and `wp_terms` tables.
