Arabic for Boonex?

I contacted someone who made a module in Arabic to be used in conjunction with English and that was for $40.00 but I believe the user was from Turkey. I do not see this any longer.

Now I see there is a download for Arabic language here: [Removed]

If I upload this will I still be able to use English?

I see someone doesn't know how file sharing search engines work. Those "featured" entries at the top aren't real results. But linking to what can be considered a download site for paid stuff is a no-no.

To answer your question, installing another language will not disable English. It will create a new menu item to allow users to select a language. You can also control which language is the default. For more information, mess around in Administration -> Settings -> Languages Settings.

Thank you Nathan for your reply.

There was" Dolphin Arabic" but his site is no longer active and his e-mail bounces back. How can I contact this man? or find the Arabic language module to add to my website? I see he is a member here but I cannot seem to contact him because of my membership status.

Can someone please make contact with this user and tell him I am trying to contact him to buy his module. Or refer me to who has such available to install.

Thanks again.

Okay after some research I see there is two ways to obtain Arabic:

1.) Comechat which uses Google Translate to translate say English to Arabic

2.) Buy the $150.00 in Marketplace to add some odd languages I would never use just to get Arabic.

Does anyone feel the translation in comechat are accurate in any language?

I had a user who did not like that I had Google Translate as a means for users to translate English to Arabic. I did not understand why exactly but later when I was using Google to translate and Arabic site to English I knew it was kind of bulky, did not easily translate all words.

SO my question is to all is the translation in Comechat very good, or too much like Google Translate?

I REALLY NEED FEEDBACK HERE!

If his site is gone and his email address is dead, the odds of him still being here are less than mydatery's ghost.

Both Cometchat and Multi-Language Creator use Google Translate, so the end result will be the same as using Google's widget for either.  I would recommend either using Google's widget or hiring someone to do a proper translation.  You can make a post over here or on oDesk
