Is there a way to associate an image with an article post (showing on the Latest Article block)

Hey Modzz,

I saw your extension when searching for something like this. But I dont want it to show the users picture, I want it to show an article specific image that I can upload.  Since the majority of my articles are written by admin, I dont need my picture next to each one.

Also, how can I extend the amount of intro text to an article?

If anyone wants to take my ideas and turn them into a mod and sell them, just give me it for free and you can sell it all you want!!!

An image that can be specified for each article, or even just a Category Image that would show up next to it.

Ok, I just noticed on the demo that it does show a picture now, on the extension page it just shows it as the authors picture.

For $50 it will go on my wish list for now.

Modzzz or anyway,

Is there anyway that with your Articles Mod, you could create a Featured Article like the attached image. Where there is a Featured article, either just one article, or the ability o have multiple ones that can be scrolled through.

If there isn't anything like this already, feel free to steal the idea and sell it and give me a free copy of the mod!!!

I have purchased

Modzzz - Ultimate Articles. 

This allows my USERS to post articles which for me is critical!

Also allows me to have either members thumb, or other thumb appear on article preview  :-)

Then I bought 

Fotex - Articles Slider. 

Works great, shows all articles in one slider box. Unfortunately for me, works with default dolphin articles, but not Modzzz Ultimate - so my users cant post :-(

Then I also bought

Kazatzo - Image with News. This looks really nice, shows the news along with image as background in preview. Really nice looking. 

Again, though, news is for admin to post only and not members!!!

I need a combination!!!

If someone can make an article module that users can post on (like Modzzz) but with a home page SLIDER (like Fotex), with the looks of Kazatzo's news mod, I would be a very happy man!!! 

Well, I bought Fotex's Article Slider earlier today and installed it. Very good mod!

BUT - my site as I said uses Modzzz Ultimate Articles so that users can post their own articles to the site.

So, I pm'd Fotex, went out to a meeting and by the time I had come back he had mailed me to say he had DONE the update and the mod was now compatible with Modzzz Ultimate Articles!!!

Not just a 'works with both' but new admin sections specific to the new integration as well!

Absolutely Brilliant.

Works a treat! 

Will be keeping an eye on Fotex for new mods, this one is nice :-)
