Articles Don't Show Author

When either Admin or members create articles, they do not show where they came from.  Is there a setting I am missing that will address this problem?

Not clear what you mean by "came from"  .....  more info please?

In other words, they don't show who wrote them.  They come out as just anonymous, with no author.

Yikes  .....  I don't recall that one before.

Perhaps someone else can help.

What version are you using?

I suppose I should have asked if you have modified the articles functions in any way too.

I'm on version 6.1.4.  As far as I know, I've not done anything to the articles functions.  And I tried the suggestion to disable friendly articles permalinks, but it didn't seem to change anything.

Any other help would be appreciated!

I have it set up so that my users can post articles...this is for some biz sites. There has never been a place for the Author to show in articles. I have just made a note for those wishing their articles to be bylined that they add their name.

Or use the mod advanged articles from eSASe here the article has a author name.  :)

On expertzzz.com. there are at this time two one from Dolphinmods I thought and one from eSASe. I use the one from eSASe and i'am been happy with it.
