Arvixe Resource Abuse

Hey guys, I have a pretty standard Dolphin 7 install on arvixe's shared hosting.  Now I understand that shared hosting isn't meant for large sites and what not, but I just received a notice from them stating the following:

We have been monitoring your account's resource usage on the server for the past several days and would like to notify you of the following metrics. Your site is currently placed on a . With this in mind, your site is using the following percentage of resources:
CPU % (all processors combined):  10.45
Memory %: 0.99
MySQL Usage (0.0-0.5 is Moderate, 1.0 is High, >1.0 is Unacceptable): 0.8

Now I have a pretty standard install utilizing most features.  I even have the default theme in place.  The site ATM only has 16 members....  I repeat 16 members and I'm already getting a notice of abusing resources?  I'm blown away at the moment as I intend for the site to have a lot more members than 16.  Hell, they're not even online at the same time...

I need to know what I can disable/ look into to minimize my resource usage as this clearly isn't going to work...  If anyone has any ideas.

Also, I would love to hear what kind of resource usage you guys with much larger sites are seeing...

I had put in a notice to migrate my account to another server and apparently it may have been related, I spoke to a customer support rep and he verified that it occurred on the old server and he said since I'm on a new server and the nameservers hadn't been updated yet, we will move forward on the new server with the notice removed and go from there.  So hopefully it will be ok on the new server.  I was really worried at first since I only have 16 members, but he assured me that they have multiple accounts with hundreds of users and they handle just fine.  So we'll wait and see.

I have just moved servers as i sort of had the same problem. I was on a dedicated server though and was using high resources. What i have found is that dolphin is a cpu eating machine (but amazing) you have to expect a package like this to eat cpus as to be honest its not really a small site package.

Believe it or not, almost (if not) every web hosting provider "recommended" by BoonEx is inadequate for Dolphin.
