Avatar Thumbnail not changing with Avatar Change

When a member changes the avatar photo, the photo on their profile changes, but the smaller thumbnail changes into a gray box throughout the site.  Has anyone encountered this, and have a possible solution?

I had to go in and manually clear the cache.  I had orginally cleared the cache via the Admin panel, but that isn't working.

Clearing the cache brought the avatar thumbnail back.

Works for me too.  I disable all caching a long time ago.... it was driving me nuts.

I disabled it as well.  I don't want to constantly clear the cache.  It doesn't work either trying to clear the cache via the Admin panel.  At least it didn't for me.

Don't worry... lots of people around here have a flat EEG.   Just click on the user name, then "Send a message"

that's what i did...i clicked on AlexT and didn't see anywhere to send a message...go figure-LOL

Our new Unity membership level doesn't allows us to send messages to other members any more :-)

I have 'Advanced' status, but I cannot send a PM either, what gives??

I tried to PM AntonLV a few days ago and was unable to do so, even via the agents page. Fortunately I found his email in my inbox.

boonex needs to fix this i don't see any reason why advanced members shouldn't be able to send messages
