BUG - DOLPHIN 7 FINAL

There is a very annoying bug with the Dolphin 7 Final while changing template.

To test it and understand what i mean:

1) Go to a website where you can change templates.

2) Go into a profile

3) Once at the profile, change the template.

The result will be buggy as the "profile menu" is gone.. (thats the menu where you can chose Profile - Info - Friends - Poll - Ads - Blog - Files ... etc.. )

In order to get it back, you have to either go away from the profile, and return.. or refresh the page..

Ticket please!!!

Bump?

sir, you just posted this a few moments ago and it has not been determined that this is a bug. what it could be is a direct result of the same issues we have been dealing with over the past few days regarding 'custom templates'. so because you say you have template switcher on, means you have more than one template, and my question to you sir, would be are your additional templates Dolphin 7 compatible.

maybe this is not a bug and just a simple user error?

I just tried this several times, and it works just fine.

BTW emctt..... For your future reference, repeatedly 'bumping' a thread without adding any additional information is only going to annoy people.

Did you try it while at the profile? IT HAS TO BE in the profile section. It does work on rest of the site, but not on profile..

Here is a way you can test what I'm saying in fact is true..

http://www.ue30-party.com/dernette67

Go to this profile..

Once there, please change the template to somethin else other than the current (moon)

You will see the member menu is then GONE!

where did you get the template from is this template DOlphin 7 compatible? seems there was somebody else with this same template name having problems?

who is the template author, do they have a working demo of the template on the Dolphin 7 Final Release?

Other than your website serving up pages excruciatingly slow, template switching worked just fine for me.

hello,

it is one of my templates.

for all RC versions and for the final version was directly one day later the update online on the expertzzz site

i also don´t understand why i don´t get contacted there if there is a problem with my template.

i also don´t really know if it is the problem from the template:

in all templates are the member menus ok....but like here said, if you switch in the profile or in the photos, the menu is gone...if you go then again on members and click again the profile the menu is there again.

the link looks different and it is longer with the username many times in the link:

profile:

http://www.ue30-party.com/dernette67

if i now switch from uni to moon template or a other the link looks like:

http://www.ue30-party.com/profile.php?skin=moon&ID=dernette67&ID=dernette67&ID=dernette67

if you call then again http://www.ue30-party.com/dernette67 the member menu is there again with the new template

all caches are switched off

where could come this problem from....is it really from my templates i made?

if the switch link would look like this it works that the menu is shown:

http://www.ue30-party.com/dernette67?skin=moon

Problem confirmed.  Earlier when I looked at it, I just changed templates by manually changing the url and didn't use the dropdown menu

AND.... upon closer inspection, this problem has nothing to do with template switching, and I've added a notation to the ticket.

If a url formatted like:

http://demozzz.com/dolphin7b/profile.php&ID=unoboonex

.... it seems as though everything that should be in the subMenuContainer Div is not there.  It does not appear in the page source.
