I have been searching through forum posts, blog posts, expertzzz posts; I even messaged one of the expertzzz whom from allot of posts I am led to believe I can trust. I have still been unable to find an answer to my inquiry so I decided to go ahead and post this in the hopes I can be at least led to another place to find my answer if not provided it here.
My dolphin site is coming along nicely I believe. My graphic designer and I have been working hard to come up with a site thats attractive and maintains functionality. I hesitate posting the url here because oft, i see the urls that are postd here show up a short time later as "hacked".
Once I can afford the security fixes offered on expertzzz and I have some peace of mind, maybe I will share it with you publically.
What I am trying to do is assign different background images to different pages....
Currently using general.css I have assigned one of my background images to the index or homepage. It looks stunning! I have (thanks to craftstorez on expertzzz) added a mall functionality and for it I woudl like to change the main layout of the site too. If you or are not failiar with this mall script; it gets called in through javascript and an iframe into the main layout through a page called shop.php... that being said.. shop.php (which shows a call to index = 28; ) still calls up general.css as its design layout and what I would rather have it do is call up general2.css... there are other pages I want to do this to as well but this is my main priority as of now..
Can someone tell me what I need to change in order to get this done. I even looked for a paid mod, but to no avail as all i could fine were template switchers for the users (like would be used in Joomla frontend). I don't want to say I am desperate for a piece of advice, but I am willing to say I am frustrated at this point. I am new to webdesign and webmastering, teaching myself things as I go.
Anyone got advice? If you absolutely need to see the url I could probably provide it, but like I said I have worries of security breeches.
