Banned members not staying banned?

Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere?

When I ban a member the "ban" resets itself, or "unbans" the member.

I've tried a number of times to ban a certain 2 members but the next day the ban has reset

and the members have access again.

It seems to work fine at first,  admin panel>members  2 Banned,  but the next day I'm showing 0 banned.

Edit: I'm running 7.0.4

Thanks SashaE,

I've been through the admin panel line by line and can't find any reference at all

to manage banned members, is the wording of the setting throwing me off maybe?

Yes, E3global, I could just delete them but sometimes a "time out" is better

than an outright "get lost".

Anyone know where or how to manage the length of time a member is banned?

Seems I'm set for only one day right now, not much of a "time out".

Hi

I have the same worries as you, the accounts are not banned one day.
Have you figured out how to extend this time?

Thanks

I use the IP block option instead. Members can always create a new account when you use BAN.

Go to Admin/Tools/IP Blacklist & add their IP address.

Go to Admin/Settings/Advanced settings/Security & check the box beside "When a member login into dolphin that the IP address from that person will be saved into the database: " <-- This will allow you to LOG the IP addresses used by your members.

Also type 1 in the "IP Blacklist system mode (1 - total block, 2 - login block):"
