Banners>edit start date useability suggestion

I've noticed that the banners admin menu has a default start date of January 1, 2008.  It is now almost January 1, 2010.  I would suggest that the banner's start date be edited to reflect a today's date.  This is not important for the RC but something useful to have so we're not searching out the current date.
