Banning a user

What are the actions you can take as an admin to ban a member. I went into admin and clicked on the member and used the ban option (it highlighted it in red) . A day later he shows in admin again as unbanned (all black). Do I have to then delete him after ban? How do you ensure that his IP cannot access the site again? Does the software automatically not do this after you have flagged him as banned? How does this ban feature work? Thanks

Hello

This ban feature is needed to ban members by Profile ID. Banned user shouldn't be able to login into your site during some time. Dolphin clear Ban table using cron tab.

You may take a look at our Access Management System 2.0 module here. It allows to ban users by ID, and visitors by IP, IP range or even the whole country. If you have some questions feel free to ask.
