Base64 emails

Is it possibile to send template e-mails in base64?

... Why?

Because I would like to send emails with image footer.

If you want to add images to your emails, you should be able to use the <img> tag and embed the images.

This is not quite proffessional, because there are a lot of people, who are not able to read images inside their email clients.

What changes should I make that my members will read properly images in email templates?
