Best external SMTP mail server for Dolphin

Well, it finally happened, my IP has been blocked for the mass mailer emails that Dolphin sends out...

I have a few sites, some with a few thousand members. Guess sending out a site email to that many in a cue was asking for trouble...

Gmail have blocked my IP which means all my sites on the server sending out mass mail will be blocked.

Anyone have any recommendations for an external SMTP mailer?

Another thought on this...

what automated emails are being sent out by the standard Dolphin setup?

member join

any 'subscribe' actions

Can someone list what is default and what 'could' be going out if someone chooses to subscribe to something?

If a site ends up with a large number of members, it would not take much site activity before automated emails used up a huge amount of volume...

Paid external SMTP mailers cost money and that could soon mount up.

If you use your site server to send out mail, it will eventually get blocked by some mail providers as possible spam. Gmail blocked mine today for just 1 email cue within dolphin to just over 1000 members...

dedicated server, so just my own regulated emails...

Also, what does this mean in SMTP settings on dolphin?

Attach every outgoing email all files from 'modules/boonex/smtpmailer/data/attach/' folder

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
