I have the Promotional membership enabled for new joins. I currently have the # of days set to 15, but after thinking about it, I'd rather have this level of membership go on forever, unless I manually bump someone down. What's the best way to handle that?
Thanks,
Bill

Bump back to the first page, I am really curious about this... newbreed |
try setting to -1 and make a test acct. Then log in and check on your dashboard the time length remaining. Otherwiwse set to 36500 days which is 100 years. Also try taking the value out completely. |

Thanks buddy, I was going to put in the 36500 or a similar number, but was afraid that the people who've already signed up would get bumped down to the a standard membership in 15 days since that's what I had set initially. I'll just have to test it out some more :-)

Hello newbreed!
Excuse me but what sense to have promotional mem level? More easy to add all actions for standard level.

That's a great suggestion, and I may look deeper in to that as well. Hadn't even though about just enabling that stuff. Hmmmm, definitely a possibility to do this instead. Thanks for the suggestion!

Usual purpose of promotional level - show new users max number of site's features. And when time will be "up", they should want to restore some/all of them, even for money ... :-)
