Beta 8 and apologies

I would like to start off by saying that I found my upload issues to be host related. I have never had any issues before with them, but decided to create a ticket anyways. Needless to say, they did something on their end and all is working fine now. I did this when I noticed that whatever happened on their side effected my 6.1.4 upload limits as well.

I have reinstalled Beta 8 and continuing to test it out. So far everything is working fine, however I did notice a bunch of cron emails telling me about "Possible Attacks". I figured out what this was as well. It seems that you cannot place certain characters in messages, titles, descriptions, or any other types of text boxes. Characters such as " { [ < ' / \ and so forth. Having these in text boxes will cause an alert.

I would like to say that I apologize for jumping the gun here and thinking it was the script. Dont get me wrong, I was RIGHT about the flash uploader and "File too big" thing..hehe. Well I hope I did not piss anyone off with any comments I might have said..

So, Piece of advise.... unless it has been a proven bug, I wouldn't start blaming Boonex until you have checked EVERYTHING on YOUR side first.

Thank you and Goodnight (haha),

Chris
