I'm using Opera 10.10 strictly for testing purposes on a Linux/Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic) machine. Our profiles show up perfectly fine but Opera is dirt slow for some reason. Much slower than Chrome or FF. If our members had/have a problem with Opera I'd just tell them that according to our site stats the amount of Opera users is so miniscule that my recommendation would be for them to switch over to FF instead. It may not be the desired solution, but it's certainly a sensible one when you consider the "zillions" of free features that are available for FF and the amount of time that FF has been around ... if neither IE7 or IE8 is an option that those few members would be interested in. They need to understand too that it's physically (still) impossible to accommodate every browser out there 100%. The only reason why I use Opera on Linux is because it renders like IE8, but I can't find anything about it that would actually make it BETTER than FF.
