Blocks gone after upgrade

After upgrade 66.6% off the site is gone. Only very basic things are working. All my other blocks, blogs, named are not working anymore.

I will set back a server backup, thank god I have my own server . But upgrade not for us.

Maby We will leave Dolphin, its every time the same problem with every upgrade, things are gone, mods not working and so more...  :( :(

Upgrading a modified website will bring problems most of the time. What problems do you have there?

Followed directions to clear cache folders via the admin panel but when I tested had some errors.

I had problems after upgrade to, it was the cache files.. they were not totally cleared from the admin panel.

After manual wipe of the cache folders the site is working fine now.

You may want to manually clear by SSH or FTP the /cache leaving the .htaccess only, and /cache_public all files there..

I checked and i found you have my enhanced page block visibility module.

Some of the blocks disapeared most likley because you edited them with my enhanced page block visibility mod.

You need to reapply the source portion of the mod to BxDolPageView.php and BxDolPageViewAdmin.php

Once thats done, the blocks will show back up.

You need to keep in mind before you upgrade dolphin that any mods that require source code changes most likley will be overwritten when a update occures. So those mods should be applied to the replacement files in the upgrade before you upload them and actually do the upgrade. This should allow modified sites to upgrade more smoothly.
