and i couldnt leave you hanging like that so i counted the characters. it says it wants it at character 148

Oh cmon. I already knew that. I can read too. Is this thing checking my punctuation when I create an article? I think not....
Change this:

to this?:
blogs&pid=1;</link (I counted)
There is obviously a problem with how the rss feeder is generating it's xml file?

that is what it appears to be, are you getting other feeds from rss_factory that are working?

What you posted as blog post to get this trouble?
I tried with different texts. And RSS works in all next browsers: IE, FF, Opera
