Blog Spam, is there a mass delete button or secret??

I have been away for about 2 months, just came back and i have mass spammers! they made 1700 accounts, and posted 7500 Blogs! =( Its soooo slow when i go to admin pannel>members>delete memebers it erases one account like every 5 mins, then it times out when i try to erase 36 or more at a time. the blogs are same way, that would take me a year to delete it all! theres gatta be a way to delete every blog quicker, and also a way to make my deleting members go faster, please help!

For the blogs you can do it directly through the database using myphpadmin. I wouldn't recommend doing that with the actual members though because then everything they posted will be left behind.

In other words when you delete a member from the Dolphin admin it deletes their blogs, tags, pictures etc.. plus all the misc database tables that were created along the way. If you delete them straight from the database you have to try and find all that stuff and clean it up yourself.

Once you are in phpmyadmin:

1. Click the dolphin database from the list on the left side of the screen

Do the following for  the tables bx_blogs_posts and bx_blogs_main

2 Either put a check by each post or click "check all" at the bottom.

3. Click "detete" at the bottom and then confirm on the next screen

That will get rid of all the blogs, to get rid of the profiles do the same for the "Profiles" table. Like I mentioned before though I wouldn't recommend doing it for the profiles because it will leave a lot of misc debris in other tables.

Deanos tools has a utility for removing all the content from a spammer.

Actually no it does not. My tools only contains a tool for removing spam messages. Nothing else.

Ok. I enter the user number in your tools mod, it deletes the spam messages, then I delete the user.

Works pretty good for me. I don't try and remove the user from the database manually. Too many things can go wrong.

What is the secret to mass-delete or bulk-delete profiles?  I have a bunch of fake/spam profiles.  I can deactivate them but the admin only allows me to delete one at a time.

What is the secret?
