Blog and Event Blocks size don't auto-adjust

I have reduced the width of all my pages down to 893px. Now the blocks inside the Blog and Event pages are too wide and, as a result, the Posts block shows above the Member Description block instead of being parallel to it. The same thing is happening for Events.

When I look at an Event or Blog logged as the site's administrator, this problem does not seem to happen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have done a little bit of sleuthing on this board and, as a result, checked the database and the value for main_div_width is 893px if this helps.
