Blog block not showing

Hi

The blogs block on the homepage is not showing for logged out members. I have set it to view by member and guest but its still not showing, why is this?

Only other reason i can think of is possibly a rule for it exists in the page access control module in the page blocks access section or another 3'rd party module that controls block visibility.

The issue lies with the visibility of the blog entries. Only blog entries with allowed view set to 'public' will show for logged out members. If none of your entries has allowed view set to 'public' then the block will not show.

well the blogs i made to test are in set to public yet it still says 'access denied'

In that case, check the membership levels settings for non-members to ensure that the following are activated :

blog view
blog post view
blogs browse
blogs posts browse
