Blogs Disapprove

Hello

I have to disable the: Enable AutoApproval for Blogs: because i'm getting spammers posting stupid craps on my site with backlinks about cheap handbags

So I select al lthe blogs I dont want to show on my site: then click  Disapprove

and they all say  disapprove but when I go to the blogs home page they still showing

I thing this option is not working like supposed to do

why don't you just delete them?

I have to do this in five different sites, its very annoying.

[EDIT] I just don't think we will ever be able to completely stop it.

I think HL posted a topic on how to do it best, but $$$ is involved to use outside services.

I think you were part of that conversation.

This works for me.. on http://www.webcamhowto.com this is the most spammed site if mine.

Once I unchecked both, they completely stopped.

Now they just put in their spam and links in the  "description field" and on the "headline" section, can these have filters applied to them as well?

shouldn't we just delete them to save on database access speed, and then ban then members in question.

Yea I ban all the spammers

When I want to see the blog  as guess I can still see the blog tittle, tags and the block fore the description with a silver image like blocking the blog if you go to the url of the blog not on home page
