Boonex payment changed?

Hi all,

I didn't know where to post this, so I decided to do it here where most people are talking. If it's compleetley the wrong place, I do apologise, and please move the thread then, and let me know where it is moved to.

Now to the topic.. I noticed that Boonex changed payment system away from Paypal. I don't at all like this idea, because now the items are 25% more expensive!! Before when buying via paypay and item that cost 20$ costed 20$, but now it costs 20$ + 25% because aparantly one must pay VAT via the new payment method.

It's not a big problem for a small item like 20$ but when you buy 2-3 items that cost 60$ each, then it does make a difference (at least for me) if I must pay:

1) 3 x 60 = 180
or
2) 3 x 60 = 180 + 25% = 225$

Why can't we get to keep paypal that's much cheaper?

I'm not sure why Boonex added a 25% additional fee for each mod. I think 25% is quite a bit of money.  I purchased a lot of mods in the past few months that was worth over $500 dollars and gladly I didn't have to pay around $125 extra for that 25% fee.  It really is a ripoff quite frankly. They didn't make the mod so why are they charging 25% extra for it?

Does anyone know if this is true if you're paying for a Permanent Dolphin License?  That would add $75 to the price!

I haven't tried with Dolphin licence, but the mods for sale via market.. When you use the new payment, and the end before you check out, it ads 25% vat so you end up paying 25% more..

And funny thing is.. it dont show up untill the end.. You must fill info and then press next.. THEN at the end you see all of a sudden 25% extra.. :(

Hope boonex will add paypal back, so people can chose!

Is that just for the EU?  Does it happen for U.S. and other countries also?

After talked to Anton I found out that if you wish to save the 25% VAT, you must shop like you are living in USA.. Simply put in USA as your country and you don't pay the 25% VAT.. I have no idea if it's just EU that pays the 25% though, I just know USA don't.
