Box and html changes help please.

Hi. I'm new to the Boonex script, I've installed the free version to test it out and love so far. Good work developers. I am working on making changes to the site (it's not live as yet) so it will be ready when I get the Licence for it, so I am here to ask so questions about being able to make those changes.

1- which folder do I need to use to make HTML changes please as I have tried the Template folder both on root dir and the theme but no changes are displayed on the site.
2- I would to know if it's possible to add a timeline box as a short full width box above all other culoumns under the header on the index.php page about 150px high which will display the last few messages they've received once a member logs in (not viewable to guests).
3- Is it also possible to have boxes which accept codes like for example "Google Adwords, banners etc" and other HTML stuff.
4- If number 3 is possible can a box also be made to be used say in the footer meaning it'll be displayed on all pages and if not which HTML Folder/file to use to implement that ability within the coding.
5- I've noticed that items displayed in the boxes say like Ads and Public videos only display items one under the other. Can it be changed so that at least 2 items are displayed side by side and what ever amount down.
5- Is it possible to change the width of the boxes to have some using the full or half width of a page with others normal ones beside them. (example, "N" for normal and "W" for wider") Having 1-W on top full width, then below 1-N on the left 1-W in the middle and then 1-N on the right, allowing for the Ns to be added below each other. If all that makes any sense to who ever is reading it.

Help with these for starters would be appreciated.

PS
Does anyone do paid modifications on these scripts at Boonex to implement changes?

Cheers

I noticed there might be duplicates there as it submit waste responding the first few times so I kept clicking till it did and then noticed I have 6 post with this being my first. I do apologise for that error.

1- which folder do I need to use to make HTML changes please as I have tried the Template folder both on root dir and the theme but no changes are displayed on the site.

You need to create your own template directory; you can start by copying the UNI template.  Search the forum here for creating templates and visit the HELP guides.

2- I would to know if it's possible to add a timeline box as a short full width box above all other culoumns under the header on the index.php page about 150px high which will display the last few messages they've received once a member logs in (not viewable to guests).

There is a free full width column mod in the market.  As for the block itself, you will need to create that.

3- Is it also possible to have boxes which accept codes like for example "Google Adwords, banners etc" and other HTML stuff.

Yes, you can add javascript codes using the HTML blocks; just turn off the WYSIWYG toolbar before pasting in your code.

4- If number 3 is possible can a box also be made to be used say in the footer meaning it'll be displayed on all pages and if not which HTML Folder/file to use to implement that ability within the coding.

Yes.

5- I've noticed that items displayed in the boxes say like Ads and Public videos only display items one under the other. Can it be changed so that at least 2 items are displayed side by side and what ever amount down.

That is usually controlled by the templates/CSS

6- Is it possible to change the width of the boxes to have some using the full or half width of a page with others normal ones beside them. (example, "N" for normal and "W" for wider") Having 1-W on top full width, then below 1-N on the left 1-W in the middle and then 1-N on the right, allowing for the Ns to be added below each other. There is a module in the market that will let you have more than one block in a column side by side; it uses floats  Normal layout is done using columns in the page builders.

Thanks for all those responses, I'll work on them.

As for question 6, I found that the current boxes only display ads, images etc at one size leaving the surroundings of the box bare and when using 4 columns it leaves a lot of bare/empty spaces. I tried placing 5 columns but it won't let me.
