Browsing members modification idea

Something I would like to do on my site, just wandering if anyone has an idea of how easy this is to figure out?

On browse.php when looking at members, if you have say 10 pages of members, instead of having to click page 1,2,3 to refresh the page each time, how about updating it to act like twitter and facebook where you just scroll down, and the page block loads the next lot of content within itself...

Know what I mean? Would be great if you could just scroll this within the page block, and not the whole site moving!

Any ideas on best way to achieve this?

sounds like a plan..... I have something similar coded into my charts contest module. I have channel window within the main contest block. If a user is viewing the salsa channel (for example) then it loads all the entries for the salsa category into this window. It can hold hundreds of entries  vertically (I wish lol) but has a scroller so the user can scroll down through all entries to select which salsa entry they wish to watch and vote for. I also have the same option for a search window within the same block. It works fantasticaly well and is a much better oprion that skipping through pages of information to find what you want.

Esaes coded it for us, so perhaps he would be the person to speak to.

Yep, will chat with ESASE, I know he does good stuff!

Would like this to run without a scroll bar though ideally, where content is loaded dynamically (think that the right term!) as you browse that block. Same way it does with twitter and the new FB timeline. It will load endless content for you but only load up what it displays on the screen.

With a scroll bar in a block, it will still preload all the content before hand which is no good if you have hundreds of thousands of members!
