How do I set it up that only me as admin can approve new member sign up? You would have to set your Admin>Settings>Moderation Settings to all off.. only admin can approve membership anyway. ManOfTeal.COM a Proud UNA site, six years running strong! |
No, that is not exactly true. If a member has a role 2 in the profiles database, they can approve/delete members, but there are actions that they can not do as far as site setup and so forth. So if your moderator is a role 2, yes they can approve members |

So if your moderator is a role 2, yes they can approve members ... And the only way to set someone as Role 2 is to edit their database entry. I just noticed that in this set up when admin needs to approve the new member no email is being sent to the member. I think there should be at least a welcome email with a notice that the registration is waiting for admins approval.
