Bulk Delete / Mass Delete Profiles

What is the secret to mass-delete or bulk-delete profiles?  I have a bunch of fake/spam profiles.  I can deactivate them but the admin only allows me to delete one at a time.

What is the secret?

Thanks,

Allen

via your database, you can sort the list there. i.e. date, email and so on

but

this will not remove other data, like photos and blogs

the only way for sure is in the admin>members

Strange. I select an entire page of members from admin all the time, and they delete just fine.

Yea, manually in the database is really the only other way, but it does not clean out the rest of the junk.

Hmm, depending on your settings for purging old inactive accounts, you may be able to use the database to set a date of join and last activity that is older. Then cron will take care of them at midnight.

Those are the only options i see other than to get someone to look at your site and find out why your admin deletion of multiple accounts is not working.

Thank You guys for your replies.  I'm surprised that Boonex does not make it 'easy' to mass delete when there are so many Boonex spammers out there.

Deleting multiple people works for me too. I would suggest trying a different browser before going any of the other routes.

I ended up deleting all fake profiles one by one.  I use a Mac with Chrome.  I also tried Mac with Firefox.  In order to delete profiles, I have to check off the profile then click 'delete' then click 'deactivate'.  That's the only way profiles delete for me.

try and select only 5 or so and see if you can delete that many at once.  some times the query is just to big if you have a lot of modules installed.
