Buying membership levels - dont want PENDING!

At the moment, using the standard D payment module, if a member buys a membership upgrade the payment goes through (using paypal) then the order goes into pending until admin processes it.

This would be fine for a physical item ordered but for membership, surely there should be a way to make it automatic??? 

Users don't want to pay for upgrade thinking they will get instant access, then wait until admin (who may be a different time zone) checks the pending orders and then manually processes it!

Is there a way to set this up either in Dolphin or in Paypal so it automatically upgrades the membership level on payment????

You should enable the IPN or PDT in your paypal settings.

Ive found where I change my IPN settings in PP but it asks for a URL to notify my site that the payment has gone through. Any idea where I get this URL from?

I thought it might be the one that shows under paypal settings in payments but that is not being accepted...

The url is your php script that processes the payment. What is your dolphin version?

Been fine really, just looking at moving to lightspeed as have heard it runs much bigger numbers.
