C-Panel music upload

Hi,

Can I upload music files through C-Panel ? If yes, how is it done? I see that the target folder should be "/ray/modules/music/files" . Should I change the folder permissions? How can I add the description and title?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

/ray/modules/music/files = gallery music files
/ray/modules/mp3/files = profile music files

You could potentially upload files with any ftp client program or your hosts cpanel file manager. After doing so you would have to manually edit/update the database with the file name, description, etc...etc.

This would be sort of a time consumer compared to uploading through dolphin as a user, as it would all be done for you by the script itself during upload.

Why would you want to do this the hard way.

I might understand if you wanted to edit someones title and description maybe. To each their own though.

Phpmyadmin would probably be the easiest way.

My music uploads are not working through the site. I get upload error 500. So just thought I will upload them through cpanel for time being, untill I find some solution for the upload error.(i tried all the steps in the troubleshooting guide, but no luck:(

Please tell me if I have to change any folder or file permissions or anything else, while trying to upload music through cpanel.
