Can 7.1.6 be re-installed then import 7.1.6 data?

I hope someone out there can help.

I over wrote Dolphin from a saved database backup. Admin/Tools/database back up/Back up structure and content. Since then have been getting multiple errors.

Is it possible to over write or reinstall Dolphin 7.1.6 saving and reinstalling 7.1.6 data files for, members, photos, blogs, PKForums ect...

We need to know more about what type of errors you are getting; php errors, database errors, what?

 As long as you have a database backup that matches files uploaded by users.  Member Ids, file names and who they belong to, are all tied together through associations across multiple database tables.  If any part of those relationships are broken, it may be a tedious job fixing it.

Although everything seems to be working ok from the users side It's looking like I really screwed up the works here.

It seemed to start after I screwed up PKForum and figured I'd restore from a week or so back from a backup file in Dolphin database backup. "Structure and content".

I'd especially hate to loose the blogs and pkforum. Over 300 installed.

   Had a database error the same as below in Premium Groups after uninstalling them two days ago. The guys at Modzzz fixed that but I see now it's a much bigger problem than just that.

I tried to uninstall Ticker Adds today...  just like with the groups, the uninstall failed then I can't install or uninstall and it still listed in installed modules.

The above is the second time in two days it's done this trying to uninstall a mod. At this point I'm not sure if I can install or uninstall any mods. Seems like the more I do the more I find wrong.

I also noticed today that...

 Deano's Anti Spam is locking up when trying to download updates to the black list. and also when I tried to mark a spammer as spam. I had to use page back to close anti spam.

When I tried to run back up structure and content in table backup tools it just sits there and won't do a thing so I have to back page to get out.

I had no clue that restoring from a back file might cause all this.

anyway this is why I asked if it's possible to install a fresh copy of Dolphin but save my main data files like members, blogs, pkforums and such.
