Can D7 Work As A Paid Internet Marketing Site?

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to review my question, I have just installed Dolphin 7 and want to know:

" Can Dolphin 7 Function As a Paid, Internet Marketing Community Site? "

As I am new to Dolphin, I am still not sure what it's capabilities or restrictions are.  If you are able to answer any or all of the below questions

I would be more than grateful!

General Scope Of What I Want To Do With My Dolphin 7 Site

I am interested in creating a community website specifically to provide automated training (by way of course delivery) to people learning how to become and make more money with internet marketing.

In addition, I want my site to have an active community that encourages members to interact in forums or live chats, contribute resources of their own (training materials  in PDF, Video and Audio Format) and blog within the site.

From what I understand, Dolphin has many of those features designed into it.

Here are some questions I have about Dolphin:

1. Where can I go to get good training instructions or tutorials on how to set up (not install... that is done) my community site?

2. Can Dolphin accept paid memberships?

3. Is there a system to automate billing?

4. Can Dolphin interact with an affiliate program/service.  I want to set up an affiliate program that tracks referrals so when others send paying members, I am able to reward them.

5. What payment processors does Dolphin work with?

6. I am correct that dolphin can be set up to have forums and user blogs right?

7. Is there a module to organize course delivery?

8.  Is there a way to upload pdf for others to download and access?

9.  Does anyone know of Dolphin sites doing something like what I have explained?

People tend to like questions one at a time here, not a whole list.  Also, when I first read this, I wasn't sure what you meant by a "Paid Internet Marketing Site".   Since no one else answered I will be the first, and I will take question number 2:

Wow!   We get to take the time to exit this forum and e-mail you directly.  How awesome that is going to be.  And to think, we don't even have to click a link to do it.  No copy paste of your e-mail even.  You figured you'd avoid a filter (which doesn't exist) and put in a creative e-mail addy. 

Congratulations!  That e-mail is now in the hands of every spammer that comes in here looking for people to add to their lists.  I figure that's reward enough for you pulling that stunt.

In the future, when you post a thread be polite enough to recognize people will answer you in that thread and those giving free help shouldn't have to jump hoops to help you.  In the event someone wants to take it private this site has an e-mail function we all use to help prevent getting spammed in our personal boxes.

mydater, I apologize if I wasn't using the proper etiquette in this forum. It's my first post and I am exploring options to see if Dolphin is the right choice for my project or not.

Regarding my email... I wasn't trying to avoid a filter, but you are half correct, I was hoping my email didn't get scrapped.   Why I left the email (didn't know that this site had an email function... remember i am new ) there was to allow for anyone, who had the knowledge on setting up membership community sites with dolphin, to approach me, so I could hire them on as a contract consultant to help me with my project.... it would be faster for me to get my project off the ground this way.  I was not looking for charity, I was trying to give someone a job.

Perhaps then, can someone point me to a good source for for tutorials or where I can find someone to consult with me on my project?

Yes, you can do this in the store.  You can put a price on the PDF file or make it available to download free.  The store will upload the PDF file in a private folder.  It will have a download button for users based on the free option or if you're charging for it, they pay first then download.
