Can Dolphin Works Without exec()?

Hi All,

I'll be setting up Dolphin in a local machime. Got the admin to confirm the specs as required by Dolphin.

Admin reported due to corporate policy, exec() executable file is not allowed.

My question, will Dolphin still run without exec() enabled? What will not work without this?

Thanks.

Best Regards, William

I think at least video / music upload can't work without exec and ffmeg ( or you need to modified script to avoid use of ffmpeg)

Say I proceed to install without exec(), other than video/music (okay, I can live without video feature), will it cripple other features like orca forum, classifieds, group etc.?

Audio&Video Chat = No

Regular Chat = yes

Embed Videos = Yes

Thanks for the feedback.

No Whiteboard ... ouched - would prefer this feature though. But can live without it.

Think the crucial modules I need would be :

Group

Forum

Classifieds

Events

Guess I'll have to test 'em out.
