Can FIRST NAME & LAST NAME combine into one FULL NAME?

Hello Dolphins,

Is it possible to combine First Name & Last Name on Join Form into one Full Name block?

Thanks

Sure, just remove "last name" from the join form and profile pages and change the text of "first name" to "Full Name".

Cool!!

What about "Username" on Join Form? is that a MUST or can be removed without causing any errors?

Thanks man.

Yeah, you're pretty much stuck with username... there is a thread somewhere around here about how to change username to real name, but it requires you modifying a million of Dolphins core files and I wouldn't recommend that.

I already have real name displayed under members thumbnail instead of Nickname and it works fine. I just wanted to see if I can shorten the join form even more but if Dean says its better to have it in the system then I trust him.....I kind of had the feeling this is the case with user/nickname in Dolphin.

Thanks guys!
