Can't upload video on D7.0.1

I installed D7.0.1 and cannot upload video or add an embedded link. when trying to upload a video in Flash or Regular the loading icon just keeps spinning. When trying to embed a link I get the message "Video upload failed (video error) After reading the other posts regarding video I checked with my host and made sure that I have the correct path to PHP, the cron command I am using is

/usr/local/bin/php -q /home/howwazyo/public_html/periodic/cron.php

Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct this?

thanks,

Dan

Hello there.  we had the same problem but fixed it my going into our ftp

public_html/flash/modules/global/app/ffmpeg.exe

right click on ffmgeg.exe and scroll down to properties.  check all boxes that are unchecked and you should be all set.  (smile)Wink

yeah just one question from me, i see you provided the cron job. did you install this yourself? was this installed with softaculous? where are you hosted?

reason i ask this is the server i am on requires the cd for the leading command for the cron job. may be the same for your server.
