Cannot get my video modules to load properly

i install the video module and when i try to access it from the homepage, it gives me a 404 error.

Do the other modules work or do they give a 404 also?

yes they are working perfectly. is there something i need to do before installing the module? it wont even open up the video options in the admin panel it gives me a 404.

What happens if you switch off the videos module permalink under Admin Panel => Settings => Advanced Settings => Permalinks?

Do other modules use permalinks (e.g., /m/sounds/home) successfully? If so, there's some kind of issue with the module's installation.
