Cant type in text in the chat

Hi, This is probably just user error. I was testing everything out and I can video chat and everything else seems to work. This was working a while ago before I tried the video chat. Am I missing something in getting the chat back to text? Are you supposed to be able to video chat and text at the same time?

Did you make connection to RMS server? Without this your chat work in text mode (all chat's history messages stored in data base)

i had an issue with this back on 7.0.2 i believe it was. Rayzzz helped me get it sorted, but for the life of me i cannot recall what he had done. there was something about the member profile on the chat that was conflicting with the members profile on the dolphin app.

 

i have sense inquired of Rayzzz, but not gotten any response. from my perspective this was a bug in the chat system on the 7.0.x release.

 

on fresh installs i am not seeing the problem, but on upgrades i have seen where this flares up from time to time.

No this is a fresh install just a week ago or so. I have RMS activated and working. Everything else works that uses the rms. As far as the data base the only thing that has been changed is the user # for trying to set up the store.
