 In D7 there seems to be no way to change the Avatar once it has been set I tried uploading a new picture, and marking as the picture to use for the avatar.. no change I tried deleting all unloaded pictures and the current avatar-- now the Avatar is a gray box
How do you get the Avatar function to work? |
Not sure what exactly you have done, but if you upload the picture, go into your photo album and click the picture you just uploaded. Under the actions menu on the left, you should see a "set as avatar". Click that and see if that works. Chris Nothing to see here |
If I upload one image in the "Add New Avatar" In the "Choose Avatars" section I can see the image I uploaded, with an "x" to remove it if I wish, but the avatar displayed is a gray box If I up load the image again, I see 2 images in the "Choose Avatars" section one with an "x" to remove and a green check mark to chose, one with only the "x" to remove still a gray box as my avatar I can go through this procedure of up loading as much as I want, but the avatar does not change any ideas? |
Just wanted to add a little more info The problem only occurs if you had selected an avatar before, from the system supplied avatars If you had used a "system" avatar, then want to use your own image, that's when uploaded photos appear in the chose avater section, but never actually change the avatar a new user that has never selected and avatar, may upload an image and it will become the avatar |
