posting quick info to let u know if you can tackle it

Download Ray 3.0 Default Skins Sources, Ray 3.1 Default Skins Sources or Ray 3.5 Default Skins Sources for all widgets from BoonEx to modify them in the way you like.

These sources will help you to create your own skin for RAY 3.0. For this you should:

1. open "[widget_name]/skins/default.fla" file in Macromedia Flash 8;

2. edit necessary library elements;

3. publish your flash document;

4. rename published document with "[new_skin_name].swf";

5. place into "[ray_home_dir]/modules/[widget_name]/skins/";

Attention!!! All necessary library elements for the correct skin work should have a linkage identifier for exporting that can't be renamed. (To change or check the linkage identifier click right button of mouse on this element and select 'linkage' option).

Repeat steps from 1 to 5 for each widget.

I have video tutorials to help you mrpowless.com

I have tried this using flash CS3. I exported each of the GIFs and PNGs, inverted them using PS as I need a dark skin. Then I re-imported all the new images by right clicking on the image and going into properties and hitting import. Then I published and uploaded but most of the buttons now dont display and the track titles overlap. I checked the linkage settings for each image and there is no value for any of them.

I only use very simple flash objects in general and use swishmax. I have never used CS3 etc before and dont really know what I'm doing.

Can any one offer a few hints

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
