The copyright text uses a language key, which can be edited from administration, settings, language setting. In the manage keys section, enter "copyright" and check the checkbox labeled "search." You'll see an entry labeled "_copyright (System)," which, by clicking the edit link next to it, will allow you to change it. thanks so much.... it worked! |
So what do you think would be the cause if the language key reports it successfully saved, but the copyright notice did not change even after refreshing the website a few times and checking it with a different browser?
Thanks! :-) |
Bump. :-) |
I would probably check the permissions for my files and directories, as well as contact FEMA. BoonEx Certified Host: Zarconia.net - Fully Supported Shared and Dedicated for Dolphin |
If you language changes are not saving check to make sure the langs folder is writable and all files in that folder writable as well. https://www.deanbassett.com |

Well I finally got it changed... I first went into the database and tried to change it there. It saved successfully, but still did not change on the website. So I went into /templates/uni/footer.html (not exactly named that) and just manually changed the coding, deleting the language string in the process. Not the way it was meant to be done, but it took care of the issue instead of spending time troubleshooting the file writing issue. :-) |
