Has anyone else had this issue -
allow member to change username
on doing so the profile 'looses' their pofile photo album
if member renames back to old profile username the photos re-appear

Hello yes I listen about this issue in previous version of dolphin, but I think that this trouble was fixed! Ok I will ask about it from module's owner PS: If possible do not write me personally, please try to ask on the forum first |

this does seem odd because in truth the username, really has no relevance to the photos or photo albums, its the userID that has that association. so what you are most likely seeing is that if the profile name changes, you are not clearing the cache on the system.
so try to change a members profile nickname, then make sure you are clearing the cache. the fact that you state that if you change the profile nickname back and the images reappear, indicates to me that this is a cache situation. marc, unfortunately the answer is yes, because this is a cached environment, and those cached pages are what are being served, so if any constant values change, then you have to clear the cache in order for those changes to take affect in most cases.
