Changing length of user names

At the moment, its restricted to 16 character for a user name.

Anyone know where I can tweak it to allow longer?

hmm, it seems that the nickname db field is using VARCHAR(255) so it is not limited to 16 ...

you could check the usable length in http://yourdomain/administration/fields.php

click on the nickname field -> advanced and check the field "Maximum value"
