Changing the CSS colour for the index block

Hi,

Am running Dolphin 6.1.4 and I finally managed to change my background colour yeeeeha.  I would also like to change the colour of the tabs bar and the bars across the tops of the various boxes i.e. home. members etc across the top and then the bars for the individual sections - but so far i have been unable to locate the bits i need to change can someone point me in the right direction please.

Also, is it possible to have the Index bar at the side rather than across the top - just curious really but would appreciate any help.

I guess you are looking for css files - they are located in templates/tmpl_uni/css folder.

meetingpoint,

Are you familier with CSS ??

Be sure to copy and backup the original files prior to changing things on them.

What OS are you working on ?? Winblows or OSX ?

And just to post:

If you are on WinBLOWS, then I would say use:

http://www.newsgator.com/Individuals/TopStyle/Default.aspx

if you are on OSX, then the best is:

I changed the background through cpanel which allowed me to edit the CSS.   I know a little about CSS which is why I am a bit usure of what I should be changing - I dont want to change layout etc specifically the colour issue is more important really - that said in future I would like to do more with CSS and actual coding, but its early days lol

Well - if you are not so familiar with CSS - just suggest you to use Fire Bug - great extension to Fire Fox

It will be helpful for you.

And always - before changing files - make backup!!!

All the colors and such are based on the CSS files.

If you want to send me a link to your site, and what you want to change, I can assist you.
