Chaning Page titles, keywords & description

Hi,

I'd like to start SEO'ing my pages.  I guess I need to do them manually but does anyone know where I can change the Page Title, Keywords and Description for each page ?  I'd like to change them individually rather than have a global set of words.

I am trying to figure this out as well, best I can tell is that Dolphin seems to pull the page title from the request URI?

There is no capacity for individual editing of the meta tags and such for each page, you can only change them globally. I posted on this a while back.

Don't waste any time with keywords or descriptions.  The major search engines completely ignore the meta keyword and description tags.

But then again title tags are extremely important, which is what we need to change.

I would like to change the "titles" of each page as well.

When using the "Like" button from Facebook, Dolphin pages that my members like, i.e. "Browse Profiles" if you click the button, the post on my members Facebook wall simply states "Michael likes Browse Profiles"

I would like to have "Michael likes TOJ Browse Profiles"

There was a mod in the market that did this (i purchased) BUT it had some flaws.  It worked in regards to changing page titles, descriptions, tags but changed faq's, about, terms and contact us titles to blank. The -moder- seems to have left the building for 2 months....No responses at all... Would like to utilize this if someone out there can look at the coding and maybe fix the issue.....willing to pay...   Otherwise I'm not sure..

I don't believe that's correct houstonlively. They just ignore certain things and pages with an excessive amount of keywords, excessively long descriptions, and/or repetitive keywords from other site related files/pages. Last year I submitted a site to google which was searched and spidered within a couple of weeks - it was a huge site that relied primarily on html/xhtml with meta tags. Well, couple of weeks later google came up with about 10 pages of related links if anyone did a search for that company by name or keyword search which was directly related to the company name. The spiders are just set up not to accept anything and everything anymore ... making metas a little trickier.

One thing to keep in mind though is the fact that google (I think yahoo as well) searches via IP recognition in your machine/country by default. So if your site is truly international, designed for people from all over the globe, the metas more than likely won't work for you.

I also purchased this mod for D6 - I agree it had many flaws.

I believe the author of this has now been banned from Boonex - not sure why, but it might answer your question as to why you have not received a response.

Just checked - the author of the mod I bought is definitely NLA here. Looks like it is probably a different person

Who is the author and why were they banned?

Is this the one from DM (Dolphinmods) or someone else?  If it's from DM then he will provide you with support if you ask him on it.  His ban is for unknown reasons but he's an excellent modder in my experience.  If you like I can take a look at what you have, no not soliciting.

Not sure why - would love to know though. No one here even gossips about it - it's like a big taboo.

I think it's something massively out of order - after all MD is still here and he has the pottiest mouth I've ever read.

The author i purchased from was ecKREATIV.  He sent a an email about 2 months ago confirming the issues, but then no communication at all from him after emailing here and personal.
