Chat / IM / Video Chat HELP!!

I am sure (and hope so) that this is a stupid question, but I just got my installation done, and cannot find the CHAT / IM / VIDEO CHAT function - anywhere.   And, if I cannot find it, I am certain my member will not be able to.

Of course, I am new, so I have not been acclimated yet to this.  However, I will get there, and could really use the help - thanks!

You need to install the modules from Administration > Tools > Modules. You'll also need a media server for audio/video chat and messaging.

You can access the chat module from the navigation menu (http://www.example.com/m/chat/home). The messenger module can be accessed through a profile's action menu, and the simple messenger module is available via the member menu.

Nathan is always so clear about everything....

If you hover your mouse over the avatar of another user (a friend) after a couple seconds, a menu will appear. you can start your IM session from there. The BIG chat room is located by going to the main menu above, all the way to the right and hovering over the weird little green icon to drop the menu, it will be in there under 'chat'. You can, of course, change all these default locations from within your admin screen under 'builders' 'Navigation Menu'

Good luck....
