Chat+ always login as admin

Hello.

First I want to tell there is a lack of documentation on how to install the new RocketChat into Dolphin 7.3.0 your boonex front page does not have information about this topic and the installation instructions on the Dolphin Wiki is outdated. It's very hard to find installation and configuration instructions.

Now my question : I have managed to install Chat+ server and the modules OAth2 into my dolphin site, but every time I login to Chat+ it uses admin and never got the user credentials.

My settings are as follow :

On Chat+ module in my dolphin site:

Settings

Enable Helpdesk Chat : no

Show Helpdesk Chat For Guests Only :NO

Chat+ Settings under Administration/Accounts/Dolphin

Dolphin URL http://www.unitedsexaddicts.com/

Dolphin Login TRUE

Dolphin Key carxmzqtwk

Dolphin Secret 4k7eqqgs7ccylvabsgsg5izwiaducxql

On OAuth2 module in dolphin site:

OAuth2 clients

Title Client Key Client Secret URL
  Chat USA carxmzqtwk 4k7eqqgs7ccylvabsgsg5izwiaducxql http://www.unitedsexaddicts.com:3000/

You didn't have to post all the private keys here.

To login as another user, simply log out of the system via the account menu. When prompted, log back in using the link above the email and password fields.

If that does not work for you, try a different browser.

I'm able to do it for all accounts.

thanks Newton.

I have reverted to the old one. Keys deleted. Useless without proper documentation and support.

Seems like an rushed integration and support is very slow.

But still I was unable to use it as the old flash application where you can share your cam and mic with all the other participants on a chat room.

Is that possible with Chat+? I spend 1 hour looking for that, only can do one-to-one video calls.

I thought AlexT posted that https was necessary for video.

Is that what your talking about?

in order to video chat with other users:

A - in the Administration section of the Rocket.Chat server, go to the WebRTC section. Here you can designate whether or not users an video chat in public, or private rooms. If you set public rooms to true - then any room created where any user can chat - will be able to video chat. Same rules apply with private rooms.

B - all users wanting to video chat must have video/mic. If not - there is a post I made a while back explaining how to at least be able to view others video even if you do not have a mic/cam.

C - once you are in a room that is WebRTC capable, simply click the icon on the right that looks like either a single person, or three persons grouped together. This will open a window in which you can initiate WebRTC communication with others in that room - by clicking the video or chat button.

D - after initiating the chat - all other members in the room will receive a popup notification sayingthey have been invited to a chat - either Accept or Decline. Once accepted, they should get a notification that the chat server wants to access camera/mic.

E - after accepting usage of camera/mic, on the right hand side the video of other users and yourself will be visible. You do have the ability to mute audio or stop casting video - and also the option for screen sharing (also another post in the forums explaining how to do this).

https is only needed if using Google Chrome - for video chatting. In Firefox, no need for https
