Collaborating on Dolphin sites!

Anyone interested in working on a/some joint projects?

I have been working with Dolphin for getting on 3 years now and over the time have built many sites. Some have been for other customers and have gone on to do well for them. Others have been 'test' sites where I get a great idea, build the site, then due to either other commitments or just lack of time, it sits there not being used!

I've met/talked with lots of other Dolphin site owners over the years who have built sites but not gone on to promote them properly... 

Just thinking if anyone would be interested in teaming up to work on some of these sites, sometimes just having 2 people there to push something makes it happen much quicker and easier! 

What are your thoughts? Ive got some cracking sites already built, or mostly built.. some very nice URL's as well! Just sitting there on the shelf waiting for a push!

What do you think? Anyone else in the same boat?

I have an idea for an incredible and easy site bassed around my charts engine which I will contribute to the project. I would be interested in anyone with knowledge of servers, seo and php. if the right team can be put together I would be interested in doing this.....

Just to clarify, as Ive had a few pms following this!

Im not looking for someone to develop modules, or even build sites... that much I pretty much have in hand. 

I would be interested in hearing from anyone who can assist with a site or multiple sites - launching, then basic admin/moderation/online advertising on social networks etc...

I of course would also be doing this, my ability is in building sites to spec, and marketing 'campaigns' online. Its the day to day running and basic admin that I think is the most time intensive on Dolphin. Making sure things are always up to date, adding a daily article / blog etc... that can be linked out to adverts online... that sort of thing. 

With a couple of people, or small team doing this, I think it would be easier to admin a number of sites, set up specifically to create ongoing incomes on a monthly basis. 

I already have a number of sites that could be worked for this, if someone else does also, but not the time to run them by themselves, then I could assist as a 'team member'...

If nothing else, it would be interesting to see how people think about this, if anyone is in a similar position, with sites, ideas, but lacking time by themselves!

This thread is about 2 months late in helping me communicate to a client that there is more to this business than just building 6 sites and turning them on *s The daily attention is key to making a website successful - search engines love to see something new appear every day. I had advised them that just one Dolphin site could become a full time job.

I am interested enough to hear about what kind of sites are ready and that need a push. With the right spark, finding and or creating content on a daily basis would be easier for me than learning to create modules. Once my bread-n-butter $ is covered, I live to create.

Dailo.... you know my stance on this..... if the right people are involved in this to help promote and grow membership then I am in too.....

Like jim says... promoting just one dolphin site could be a full time job and thats time I dont have easily... but I am happy to contribute the core charts engine and also do my bit for promotion depending on whos in...

There will be issues in this at some point though... such as tyhe legality of the site when it begins to make money... business formation.. and a few others that will need to be discused between everyone... Example: if we form a UK business and want a business account - anyone with 10% or more MUST be present when the account is applied for at the bank.. If people from abroad are shareholders then they will HAVE to get to the bank..... otherwise a UK business bank account will not be issued. I have been caught on this before. One of my shareholders had exactly 10% and the bank refused the account because he could not come over from SA to be present at the bank.... insanity I know lol....
