I had to pay in order to post in these forums to get help. Then I had to pay for a license to activate certain features of Dolphin only to find they don't work. I've spent this entire day installing, configuring, uninstalling, washing, rinsing, repeating and there has been no change for the better. Now it looks like I have to pay for additional support to have the product installed? There should not be any steps that are not in the instructions that I cannot follow myself.
What's up with the payment based "everything"? I realize that you need to make a living but to require payment for a license and the product not work, then have someone pay for you to make it work seems a bit wrong. Don't you think?

The only part of dolphin that requires a paid license is the removal of the boonex logos at the bottom of the page. The free licenses are all that is required to run dolphin.
When dolphin is installed on a properly configured server certified to run dolphin then dolphin runs correctly.
So the first thing you need to ensure is that the host your trying to run dolphin meets all the hosting requirements of dolphin.

On a properly configured server, the product will install and work just fine. Who is your hosting company? My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees. |

I am using Host Gator which is on the recommended hosting list. |
Are there some additional server configuration requirements that I am missing that were not in the install.txt or that were addressed during setup? |
Yes. Right at the top of install.txt is a link to a page here that should be looked at before installing.

You may also want to ask around. You may not have to pay someone to work on your site. There are people here that may be willing to reinstall for you for free.
Ask and see what you get for offers.

I know of people that have Dolphin on Host Gator and working. I am waiting for you to tell us "what" exactly is going on. Give us some detailed examples of what you are having problems with and what you have done to try and troubleshoot.
We will be glad to jump in and help.

Nothing to see here |
LOL. and remember, there are things on the right side of some of the pages so either reset your screen resolution so the whole page shows or slide the little blue bar on the bottom of the page so you can see the other side.....
Yeah, I figured that out already.

You might want to look at this guys other post again. That scrollbar ISN'T part of the screen shot.

I am troubleshooting now...I'll post here when I do find the solution. I'm over in another thread with it at http://www.boonex.com/unity/forums/topic/Blank-Settings-.htm
Sorry for the confusion...I'm confused myself. X_X
